Following his visit to the school on 13th April 2016, Mr Bernard Campbell wrote on behalf of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills to report the inspection findings. The visit was the first short inspection carried out since the school was judged to be good in May 2011.

The report stated that "This school continues to be good".

Chris Cook, head teacher of Wroot Travis Primary School, was over the moon with the result.

"I am delighted with the Ofsted report," she said. "It is great news. All of the team at Wroot Travis Primary School have worked hard to provide the very best education we can for the pupils. We have a good relationship with parents and the governing body. We all want the school to be as good as possible and for the pupils to continuously make progress. I am very proud of what we have achieved."
