Ofsted says "Wroot Travis Primary Is A Good School". We offer personal and individual education.

WHO MADE THE MYSTERY MAN?

While the children were busy making their own snowmen during last week's Snow Days we discovered a "mystery sculptor" had been at work outside the school - who will lay claim to his creation? To be continued (perhaps!).......

18.01.17 - Outdoor Gym Is Completed

We are delighted at the new outdoor gym - it was completed today and the children will be trained how to use each piece of equipment properly during the coming PE lessons. They are very excited and can't wait to use it. Neither can the staff!

Thank you very much to everyone who donated towards the new outdoor gym - here is it under construction today. Thank you to all parents and people in the community who have supported us by taking part in fundraising events. We are confident it will be a great benefit to all children present and in the future for years to come.

PGL at Caythorpe Court 2016

We had another successful trip with our year 5s and 6s to PGL in Grantham in June. We were very lucky with the weather and, as you can see from the photos, we had a fun time doing all sorts of adventure activities such as wall climbing, abseiling, zip wires and raft building. Although the good weather didn't stop us getting wet and muddy.

World Book Day and Mother's Day 2016

We had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day and Mother's Day all at once.  The theme for World Book Day was, of course, the Wizard of Oz - as you can see by the costumes! The KS1 and Early Years children then treated the Mothers and Grandmothers to a special afternoon tea, complete with home made cakes and tea and coffee.
